In 2020, I started attending Montgomery College. I always knew I wanted to major in Business; it has been my main interest since I was a child. The reason is that when I was 13 years old, I started my own business, the one that I put a lot of effort into, and which was very successful. But at that time, I didn’t know how to manage a business, so I did my best to keep it successful and profitable. After living this experience, I knew that I wanted to keep doing this in the future, and to be more successful I must know everything about having a business and that is why I chose this major. Once at Montgomery College, I saw the variety of Business and math courses they offered and enthusiastically chose my classes. By taking these classes my business knowledge has expanded a lot and I want to continue learning. The motivation of transferring to another school and obtaining a bachelor’s degree has been with me since the day I started community college. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, as the path to transferring consisted of two years of community college.
As an aspiring Businesswoman, I see Maryland as the perfect chance to learn and achieve all my professional goals. It provides tons of resources such as internships, clubs, and organizations. I would also take advantage of the extensive Business program. Finally, the main reason I wish to enroll in Maryland is because of its variety and quality of course offerings.
